Custom Body Oil Blend

The Custom Body Oil Blend allows you to create a moisturizer to target your specific skin concerns with the use of plant oils.

Start by choosing a base oil, next select two enhancer oils.  We package and ship to you ready to apply.

BASE

The base oil is the foundation, creating structure to your overall body oil.

• Apricot Kernel Oil:  Nourishes the skin to decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin tone, and increases skin radiance. It also has antiseptic, antibacterial, and antioxidant effects, which can help to heal blemishes and protect against environmental damages.  (Great alternative if you have a nut allergy).  Skin Type or Concerns | Sensitive, Dry, Mature
  
  
• Evening Primrose Oil: Skin cell regeneration, anti-wrinkle and soothing properties. Helps skin retain moisture, useful for treating eczema and psoriasis. A light oil that is absorbed quickly.  Skin Type or Concerns | Suitable for all skin types especially oily, acne, dry, mature
  
  
• Hazelnut Oil:  A light oil that is nourishing, softening and soothing for the skin and good for preventing dehydration.  It also helps to tone and tighten the skin.   Slightly astringent although not ideal for acne-prone skin due to high oleic acid content. Easily and quickly absorbed by the skin and does not leave it feeling greasy.  (Avoid if you have a nut allergy). Skin Type or Concerns| Suitable for all skin types, but best for sensitive, dry, mature
  
  
• Sunflower Oil: Cleanses, detoxifies, tones, and draws out impurities.  Contains high amounts of Vitamins A, B, D and E, minerals, lecithin, insulin, unsaturated fatty acids, and by all accounts, it is a good product for the skin.  Skin Type or Concerns |  All skin types

ENHANCERS

The enhancer oils apply beneficial and therapeutic properties to the skin.

• Avocado Oil: Nourishing and rich in vitamins especially E and D.  Offers anti-wrinkle, skin regenerating and skin-softening properties and prevents water loss. Avocado is a rich, long-lasting and well absorbed oil.  Skin Type or Concerns | Suitable for all skin types but best dry, mature and eczema.
  
  
• Jojoba Oil: Balancing, softening and soothing properties. Light and well absorbed, leaves a silky feeling on the skin. Balances sebum production so great for oily skin, acne or dry skin. It works as an anti-inflammatory, which makes it useful in the care of irritated and inflamed skin such as eczema and psoriasis, after shaving, or for acne-prone skin. Skin Type or Concerns | Mature, dry, oily, acne

• Rosehip Oil: Regenerating, rejuvenating and healing properties. The only vegetable oil to contain tretinoin (a form of Vitamin A) which helps to repair damaged skin, acne, and reduce wrinkles and scars. Good source of essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6), which assist with skin regeneration. One of the best anti-aging oils.  Skin Type or Concerns | All skin types but best mature, sensitive, oily, acne, eczema, scars.

• Shea Butter Oil: Moisturizes, protects and heals the skin. Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. Contains phytosterols, which stimulate cell growth.  Skin Type or Concerns | Damaged, dehydrated skin.  Stretch marks, scarring
